Elim Youth

Our goal is to help youth know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference. We want to help young people encounter God and build a relationship with Him. Absolutely everything we do is based around the foundational truth that Jesus is Lord, and we were all designed to live in an intimate relationship with Him.

As young people attend our youth programmes, they will learn who Jesus is, grow closer to God, create great relationships and discover their purpose! We believe that individuals surrounded by a life-giving church community will use their strengths and passions to impact others.

Programmes

Oxygen

Oxygen Youth runs every Friday night of the term from 7:30-9:30pm with live worship, speakers, games, performances, sports, and so much more! Oxygen is a place where youth can hang out with mates and leaders who will encourage them throughout their faith journey. Oxygen Youth is for everyone in year 9 to 18 year-olds.

What to Expect

When you arrive at your local Elim Christian Centre Campus, you will be greeted by one of our friendly Dream Teamers and shown where to sign in. If it is your first time, you will need to fill out a newcomers form that includes contact information, age specification and parent contact details.

The unknown can be frightening, that’s why we’re here to help! It’s our hope that we can answer some of your questions and serve your family by leading, mentoring and helping your student take important next steps toward Jesus.

One of the best ways to keep up with all that is happening is by following our social media accounts.
If your child attends Oxygen, there is an Instagram and Facebook account for each location. Simply search ‘oxygen youth (campus)’.

Growth Track

With three steps, the Growth Track course invites you to encounter Jesus, discover your unique purpose, get equipped with resources, and make a difference in the lives of others through serving. No matter the order you journey through each step, we believe God will reveal his plan for your life.
Growth Track happens every month on three consecutive Sundays, starting with Step One on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time.

Dream Team

Get involved and get connected. Serving provides opportunities for students to identify their strengths and use them to live out their faith in motion.
You are never too young to start discovering your gifts and passions or begin using them to impact others.
Whether it’s making coffee, helping out at a kids programme or welcoming with a smile, there’s a place for you on the Dream Team.

Alpha Youth

The brand new Alpha Youth Series has been reimagined for today’s youth culture. This Alpha course is for 13-18 year-olds and gives young people the chance to explore faith, ask questions and meet new people.
It is a 10-week interactive course facilitated by Elim Christian Centre peers. Each evening a video is watched then discussed in smaller groups. Register here.

ELC

The ELC internship is not only a lot of fun, but it also includes hands-on ministry training, in-depth teachings by the Elim staff, and growth through life-giving relationships. If you commit to a semester of ELC, you will grow in your relationship with God like never before! Find out more about ELC here!
